kamullis and hara, you should check the 'cache' dir. within Zen Cart to see if any DEBUG files as they will give details on certain types of errors. You should also check the Error log within your Hosting control panel which might also be giving error information.
kamullis, you say you moved your site to the root dir. and you also created a 301 within the root dir., sounds like a conflict there but not sure as I don't know what you are redirecting. As to PHP closing tags, not necessary anymore.
Thanks input Rob. I only put the 301 when I decide to go back to the sub directory. Ended up just reninstalling it all over again. since I had my template overide ready to go it didn't take to long getting it back to where it was at originally.
