Previewing Available E-mail Templates

Is there an add-on that allows for previewing of various email templates, such as is available in the Admin->Tools->Email Welcome?

I am having trouble figuring out how the various templates are going to look when emailed to a customer, and would love to be able to email them as a test to me or one of my various accounts to test them all as I work on them.

Also, is there no way to template over-ride the email templates?

TIA.

Set up a test customer account and you will get the emails for viewing as delivered

There is no override for them
