inventory dose not reduced correctly after sale
i am using the latest version of Zen Cart.
My product is sold by 4 different kinds of packaging by weight:
2oz, 4oz, 8oz, 16oz- - which i set up in the attribute controller as option values:
Option Name -weight- radio
I have total weight of the product available in stock- which i entered in new product screen as Products Quantity..
When sale is happening the following is going on: if ordered 1 time by any of the attributes options- it subtracts 1 unit from stock.
Because it does not treat weight as weight but as units it allows to check out even when the quantity available is below the order quantity. such as, in stock we have 4 (in product quantity), the customer ordered16oz, and the program allowed the sale to go through because it treated 16oz as 1 unit.
I've read some similar issues from old posts, but no answer to them.
Can anyone help?
