UK/USA Mothers Day & Fathers Day Email Module (Mailbeez Addon)

I've just submitted a module to the downloads section called 'UK/USA Mothers Day & Fathers Day Email Module' which can be used alongside the Mailbeez trigger email campaign module. it is a clone of the big three trigger campaign by Sandra.

Its not the most fancy of modules but i use it to email out holiday codes, it can of course be cloned for any holiday for any country.

i don't think it has been added to the downloads section yet but i am using it on mine, 1.3.9h, i dont know if anyone else can confirm it's working fine for them?

foranyone using this module, it is now live in the downloads section but there is tiny error in the database tables names file found at : includes/extra_datafiles/mailbeez_motherfather_database_tables.php

there is some space below the final ?> tag which is causing a problem with the headers being sent.please delete any uneccesary space to fix this. hopefully the new zip of this module will be in the downloads section soon

just a quick note:
this nice addon has a bulk mail character, so it sends emails to all of your customers at once.
that might cause that you reach emailing limits of your server.

with the latest release of mailbeez v 2.1 you can get a generic addon to control the rate mailbeez is sending out emails - the pricetag of that addon is more like a donation :wink:

it might also be a good idea to send out different emails based on the gender of the customer. you can enhance mailbeez with an addon that allows to generate gender dependent emails and also try that while you are developing thanks to the tight integration into mailbeez

you will find the addons on mailbeez.com or through the version check.
