500 error when pasting in sql patches?

Hi, I'm trying to install google analytics and when following the directions, I paste in the sql in the sql patches and I get a 500 server error.

Any suggestions on what I should be looking at to try and fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Re: 500 error when pasting in sql patches?

Your hosting company's mod_security rules are likely blocking you from running SQL statements that way since that's how hackers sometimes abuse systems.

You'll have to use whatever other tools your hosting company has provided for managing your MySQL databases instead.
