How do I move the All products category within the sidebox?

Hi,

This exact question has been asked once before (in 2009) as far as I can find, and it didn't get an answer. Here's hoping... :D

I want to move the "All products..." category from the bottom of the Category sidebox to the top of it. I found where it's coded -- in includes/templates/template_default/sideboxes/tpl_categories.php. And I know to move the edited version of that file into an override folder. But what I can't do is get the php moved around in that file so it will work. :frusty:

PHP is not my forté. Can someone hold my hand please?

Re: How do I move the All products category within the sidebox?

You could customize the sidebox template with your templates and overrides and add the code:

  $content .= '<div id="' . str_replace('_', '-', $box_id . 'Content') . '" class="sideBoxContent">' . "\n";
    if (SHOW_CATEGORIES_BOX_PRODUCTS_ALL == 'true') {
      $content .= '<a class="category-links" href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCTS_ALL) . '">' . CATEGORIES_BOX_HEADING_PRODUCTS_ALL . '</a>' . "\n";
//      $content .= '<br />' . "\n";
      $content .= '<hr id="catBoxDivider" />' . "\n";
    }
  for ($i=0;$i<sizeof($box_categories_array);$i++) {

Then comment out the code in the bottom of the file ...
