How can I bypass Paypal when store credit balance is zero?

I have installed the store credit module.

When a customer uses their store credit and there is no balance to pay the store still takes them to paypal. The majority of orders will be paid for using store credit. However, I want to prevent the order going through if they run out of credit.

Is there anyway of bypassing paypal when there is nothing to pay?

How did you resolve this? I need a fix for this asap as I am running a promotion where I am giving a 100% coupon to some customers and the balance goes to zero. However they are still asked for a credit card from paypal. Please i need a fix if you know how get back to me asap. Thank you.

It would be helpful if you'd answer the questions asked in the Posting Tips which show when you click Reply. Without knowing what versions/addons/etc/etc you're using we can't give you specific help. And the person you're replying to made their post a year ago, so their situation could very well be quite different from yours.
