database appears to need patching to a higher level

I have been working on upgrading Wholesaleforms.com to 1.3.9h and have set up a temporary store at http://wholesaleforms.com/new_store where I have finally made the admin work.

The store looks good, although there are some missing category images.

The issue I am having is that I am getting a notice that says > Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Tools->Server Information to review patch levels.I read that I need to run the zc_install again and upgrade the DB which I did, but when I get th the upgrade screen and it asks for my username and PW, I enter the password that works to enter the admin area and it wont accept it. it just says > ATTENTION: Problems Found

  • Admin Password required to proceed with upgrade

I have tried several times, I have removed zc_install and changed the admin password, I have tried a different user, but nothing yet. Any suggestions?

Re: database appears to need patching to a higher level

Thankyou for the response. I do not see anything in those threads that talk about the password not working.

Re: database appears to need patching to a higher level

Just Wondering....

What would happen if i just disabled the warning and kept on using 1.3.7 database with Zen 1.3.9h?

How does zen cart able to tell if the database need to be patched to a higher level? Is it a field in the database or is it a smart software?
