zc_install not accepting password

I am trying to update my database but when I get to the screen that asks for the admin password, it wont accept it even though I know exactly what the password is. I am really stuck and haven't found any threads that address this.

This will have to be a user and pass used in the donor database site

OK, that makes sense, the copied sql would have the user and pw stored from the original installation. In the new installations, I used the same username but I changed the pw. so I have been trying that. I have now tried the old pw and have the same results. I have recently changed the pw on the original install. I could do another sql backup and import it to the new database. Do you think that is the best course of action?

I did that and it worked!!! :clap: now, one more addon to install then transfer to the main store.
