Checkout issues

FOr an unknown reason my items show up with a double image and productname in the shopping cart

ALso when I push the Checkout button ( to go to checkout_shipping) I get a page not found, while the files are uploaded to the internet.

Please who can help me out?

seem to have error codes in your script.

find a coder to sort that out.

What version of Zen Cart are you using?
What modules have you installed?

use your ftp program and look here please:
there will be a folder called cache, click on it and report back any errors..

Which modules i have installed.... do you really wanna know. I think all together about 40 addons

When I go to my FTP and click on cache I do not get an error
I do see files with following names: myDEBUG-adm-1302696866-949632.log

Is that what I need to check?

When you installed the add on's did you use Winmerge to munge the coding together when you touched a core .php file with zen?

Well, I check functionality after every installation ( or 2 ) so I kidn of know where it should gone wrong.

Which I think is in the VAT /tax module

What do you suggest? Try to fix what's broken or do a fast reinstallation? ( which is not really fast with all the addons )

Christina, as a rule of thumb I always create a test site, and load a module first to check it functionability, then if ok, off to installling it on my main site...

Did you look at the VAT thread to see if similar problems..

This site is not up and running. I have my older version of zen-cart up and running and was workign on a new version behind te scene.

I did check after every installation if it was working yes or no. Just with petite modules I did not. So I am sure it is the VAT mod.
Not sure how easy it would be to uninstall. Cause I would need to check all moderated files first.

If you have the time do it yourself... :smile:

Use a program like Winmerge, Ultra Compare or Beyond Compare..
When you load a add on that touches core .php files you have to munge the coding from the add on to the core .php file...
You just can't dump the .php file on top and race..

Just take you time and use the right tools of the trade and you will be fine...
