Site takes too long to load

Hello, I'm currently doing some part-time website work on: theprintpanther.co.uk.

I've used some optimization tools to see why it's taking so long, and the number of objects being loaded seems to stand out the most (I could be wrong).

Please could anyone tell me a technique which could solve this; The CSS is the problem I believe, as it's calling images from left right and center. The template is one bought off a website, and didn't give too much information supplied in the text file, well, didn't mention anything about this.

Two things I can suggest.

1. Fix your coding errors.

• view the page source of your Home page, copy the code then go to http://validator.w3.org and paste it in to see your errors.

2. Admin > Configuration > Logging: Display The Page Parse Time - true

• by turning it ON the results for load time of PHP and mySQL will show at the bottom of your page. Post back the results.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. The Validator gave 45 errors and 13 warnings: I'll get working on them.
