News and Article Manager

Hi All I am sorry if there is already a thread on this but I could not see it...

Firstly I am not a website expert or a developer I know enough to be dangerous so please speak slowly and I apologize id I don't explain my self very well.

I have a Customize zen cart site with a pure black template it is a new project and thus still work in progress and I am learning as I go. But having said that we launched at the beginning of April and we are selling so must be doing something right.

Anyway The current problem is I have installed the News and Article Manager add in and it all look wrong I have checked that the template is installed in my template folder...

Use this hand dandy little tool within zen cart..
admin panel/ tools/ web developer tool kit/

1. search for one of the words you are seeing on the page.
2. you should notice that that file is is not place in your override file called pure black
3. when installing a mod did you use winmerge to compare the files that you are loading on the top of a core file.
4. If two files match each other and you are not using an override you have to munge them together...
5. Or if you have an override folder place the munged folder there..

I didn't use any tools to compare or merge I will have a look at winmerge and remerge the code.

I have a backup copy of the code so I will try again this evening..

These are the overrides and you have created folders called pureblack to match your template name and if the mod has a folder called your_template is where you will place this .php file..

But since it is an older mod you have to match like .php files with winmerge to see if the coding has changed
