How to add active links in description?

Zen Cart 1.3.9g

I'd like to add a link within the product description that allows users to click to "listen to samples". The problem is I can't figure out how to make the link active.
I can put https://www.mysite.com but it's not an active link.
Same for http://www.mysite.com.
Specifically I'd like to add a link that says "Listen to Sample" and have that be the anchor text.

How do I do that?

Use the plain test editor when adding any code to the description
Use standard html anchor text code

If you want that link in the product listing (and not on the product info page), Zencart strips HTML from the product listing. You should be able to search the forums for zen_clean_html for instructions on how to remove that restriction.

Thanks. With your input I was able to figure that out.
Next question though is, I'm giving away several DL products. Still wanting to generate some revenue from it, I'd like to do is add Adsense adds to the product description page.

Even after removing the zen_clean_html from the code I still can't add the java script.

Any advice?

if you have few products, you can add the product ids into an array and add an if statement inside the product_info_display file
