Free Item With Purchase

Hi,
I am a new shop owner trying to get all of my things lined out before I go live. I'd like to be able to offer a free pint glass with the purchase of over $100 worth of merchandise. Is there any way for my cart to automatically add a pint glass to the order if it exceeds that certain dollar amount?

Please let me know if there is a mod out there that does this. Thanks! :cool:

I do not recall seeing one for this but there may be something that can be adapted/extended for this....maybe just a price sensitive coupon for the gift

Your page would not load - - taking too long - - when I tried to access

You might enable the display for load time
admin > config > logging > display page parse time > true

The online shopper will not usually wait around for a page to load and you could be losing potential customers

I enabled the sparse time logging feature in admin. We'll see what we come up with there. The page seems to load fine on my end. I don't know why you had problems.

As for the original post... I found this in the Freebies.. It's called Free Gifts Dangling Carrot. You can set the amount you offer a free gift with and set the items you'd like to provide. It's exactly what I'm after. Thanks again! :smile:
