Stylesheet issue when transfering to a new host.

I am having an issue with transferring my GoDaddy zen cart to Bluehost. I currently have all my files backed up from GoDaddy including the database and have successfully installed a clean install and replaced all of the files with my existing zencart files and database.

The site is up and everything seems to be functional without a hitch except for my stylesheet.css in my current template.

If you go to https://www.partsreloaded.com you will see the current live site at GD.

If you got to http://66.147.242.97/~partsrel/ you will see the current live site I am trying to set up at BH.

I have checked the server logs and it is stating several errors to:

Thu Apr 28 10:28:50 2011] [error] [client 174.103.204.169] File does not exist: /usr/local/apache/htdocs/includes, referer: http://66.147.242.97/~partsrel/min/?f=/includes/templates/black_pure_free/css/stylesheet.css,/includes/templates/black_pure_free/css/stylesheet_categories_menu.css,/includes/templates/black_pure_free/css/stylesheet_css_buttons.css&1294849413 [Thu Apr 28 10:28:50 2011] [error] [client 174.103.204.169] client denied by server configuration: /home1/partsrel/public_html/includes, referer: http://66.147.242.97/~partsrel/min/?f=/includes/templates/black_pure_free/css/stylesheet.css,/includes/templates/black_pure_free/css/stylesheet_categories_menu.css,/includes/templates/black_pure_free/css/stylesheet_css_buttons.css&1294849413

Now, if you check the source you will notice the stylesheet that is trying to load has ( min/?f=/ ) before the current path.

I have called BH 4 times and they don't have a clue on where to go with this. I have recopied my whole site from GD and uploaded it to BH again to see if there was an error in the download and I get the same problem.

Anyone have an idea on where to go with this?

I have already checked over my config.php file and I can't see any typos or errors in redirection. I also have a blank .htaccess file.

Do your configs have this as the host?

Re: Stylesheet issue when transfering to a new host.

After spending 14 straight hours on the site from bluehost I gave up on them and canceled the hosting service.

I can replicate my site perfectly on my main domain/hosting site with godaddy... after calling BH 3 times and getting 3 different answers that didn't solve the problem I decided they weren't going to really help me with this and possibly future issues.

So now I am in search of a different hosting provider that will be able to support Zen-Cart users a lot better than GD and BH. Any help would be appreciated, prefer hosts in the U.S.

Please PM me.

Re: Stylesheet issue when transfering to a new host.

Well my apologies to Bluehost and their customers. The issue is not on their side but deffinitly somehwhere in my scripts or database.

I have for the past 16 hours have been messing around with hostgator.com and it seems that I have the same exact issue as with bluehost.

I have copied everything except the htaccess and config files from my GD account. You can see the two at

partsreloaded.com

&

http://50.22.194.160/~partsr/

I am getting the same issue as before, the stylesheet isn't loading properly and you can see the compiling of /min/?f=/ before the path.

Any help or advice would truly be appreciated!

Re: Stylesheet issue when transfering to a new host.

This is very common... The stylesheets generally do not resolve on a mod_userdir URL (ie, the one that uses a TILDE before the account name, behind a IP address.)

You seem to be using a URL rewrite mod (completely unnecessary these days, but still...) so your htaccess file needs to be properly configured too.

Re: Stylesheet issue when transfering to a new host.

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="[min/?f=/includes/templates/black\_pure\_free/css/stylesheet.css,/includes/templates/black\_pure\_free/css/stylesheet\_categories\_menu.css,/includes/templates/black\_pure\_free/css/stylesheet\_css\_buttons.css&1294849413](http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/view-source:http://50.22.194.160/%7Epartsr/min/?f=/includes/templates/black_pure_free/css/stylesheet.css,/includes/templates/black_pure_free/css/stylesheet_categories_menu.css,/includes/templates/black_pure_free/css/stylesheet_css_buttons.css&1294849413)" />

Not sure why the funky coding (min/?f=) but if you remove the forward slash in front of 'includes' and have the two stylesheets each on their own line, you should be OK.

The learning is in the doing.

Re: Stylesheet issue when transfering to a new host.

It appears that the issue is coming from the JS loader (add on)

under the /home/partsr/public_html/includes/functions/extra_functions/jscript.php

$files['css'] = getMinifyfiles($css_files, "<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="min/?f=%s&$minify_cache_time_latest" />\n", 'css/');

I turned off the JSloader and it didn't load any stylesheets so I'm curious if there is something I can do or what I need to add to the htaccess file to take care of the scripting issue.

Re: Stylesheet issue when transfering to a new host.

After I changed the nameservers to my other host, everything was cleared up.

It had to be something between the JS loader and the location with the ~

Thanks everyone that took the time to help me out!
