Product notification.

Hi,

Im using version 1.3.9b.

Ive read through the turtorials, so I know I have to manually send updates of products when there available.
Problem is I don't seen to be able to see where a customer has asked to be notified anywhere on my site.

Any help is much appreciated :blush:

P.S I did see a dowload for this where it is all automated but I don't want to mess it up, would need someone who's knows what there doing to install it.

This mod is written by CEON, so will be reliable, I believe.

What is it that you are uncomfortable with? Is it just the technique of installing a module? Or are you unsure if this mod will suit your needs?

Both, is it a difficult process or fairly straight forward.
Im happy to do it manually at the moment as Im just starting out and the volumn would not be large, but unable to see where customers have asked for notifications.

Conducting "Teach Yourself" programmes on a live store is not advised.

You should have an installation of ZC set up purely for testing and learning - and not use a live store.

If you don't have a separate hosting account, you can install another webshop in a SUB-FOLDER on your current hosting account, and then password protect that directory using the feature in C-Panel.

On that site (the "learning" site), you can fool about as much as you like... if you break it, you won't be destroying your live store.

Im happy to manually send customers updates for products there after when back in stock. All I want is to see in my admin the customers who are requesting updates. I can see customers purchases and if they have subscribed to newsletters but no product notifications. Thats all, not installing or changing anything, I would definately leave that to someone who knows what they were doing.
