No 'Go To Checkout" or 'Back To Shopping' Button

When I click 'add this to my cart', I get a 'Successfully added Product to the car' banner; but I do not go to the shopping cart page where I can modify quantities, go back to shopping or checkout. How can I configure this so that when I click on 'add this to my cart' it goes to the page with the check out button, etc.?

I'm sorry, Kim, to leave that out. I could really use your help on http://sisterlocks.com. When you're there,
select 2011 Homecoming. Scroll down to see the various offerings and select one to add to the cart. You will successfully add to the cart (note green 'success' banner above the nav bar) ... but, I don't get a 'check out' or 'go back' or the ability to change quantities.

What do you have for admin > Configuration > My Store > Display Cart After Adding Product ?

Admin --> configuration> my store --> display cart after adding product was set to false. Setting it to true allowed the cart to be show after product selections were made.

I so appreciate how very helpful people who frequent the Zen Cart are.
