Home link not working

Hello,

I am posting this because I have been searching for hours with no luck...

I am helping a friend with a zencart installation here:

Now, his problem is that when he clicks on the Home link, he gets a 404 error.

As I understand it, the issue lies in the home link, which is:

http://derbycitycomputers.com/index.php&zenid=e318e0793f38e01e6065f47fe39bea19

and the error would be that the "&" sign should not be there, we should have a "?" instead.

Indeed http://derbycitycomputers.com/index.php?zenid=e318e0793f38e01e6065f47fe39bea19

works just fine.

Now, any idea how to get that fixed??

You might look here too: admin panel/ tools/ ezpages

mmmh...
ok what I found is

Line #15 : define('HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG', 'Home');

Does it mean the error is in header title catalog?

interestinly enough, I dont have that entry in admin>tools...

I have EZ-Pages Settings under Configuration...

Don't see any relevant setting tho. What do you think the cause might be?

You're getting the 404 because something in the TM template is forcing the zenid to be added to a link. This is a BIG no-no.

Yeah I know... i didn't install it so it's a major headache because I wouldn't know where to look for errors... I guess I'll redirect my friend to templatemonster...

Perhaps someone do know what kind of string would generate such a link? that way maybe i can look for it...

You are probably missing the EZ-Pages link under Tools because a file in your admin is missing or corrupt. You have a lot of mods that have added things to admin under Tools alone. Compare a fresh set of ZC files to your site and see what is missing or different in your set's admin section (there will be lots of unique files in your custom set - you can probably ignore those).
