Sidebox newsletter/gift certificate-How to turn off?

In the "Information" sidebox I was able to elimination the "Discount coupons" and "privacy status" links under config>define_pages_status, but I can not locate the controls for "newsletter unsubscribe" and "gift cert FAQs".
Where are they?

Gift certificates

admin panel/ modules/ order totals

Admin - Configuration - Email Options

and

Admin - Modules - Order Total

Newletter Unsubscribe

admin panel/ configuration/ email options/ Display "Newsletter Unsubscribe" Link?

Now see...This is why I can't figure this out. Items in the same place that require configuration from totally different areas :bangin:

Anyway, I got it.
And I'm more comfortable now with changing my text color and sizes and I am getting familiar with finding where to change text.

But, I can't go away without expressing my thoughts:no:
I noticed that the instructions for using "developers tool kit" aways say only one thing...put your text in the first text box. They never say anything about when you would use the other text boxes.

Anyway, thanks y'all. And if anyone wants to look at my site and offer suggestions I would like that.:clap:

I know my page is wide but... How do you tell if it is to wide or if it is just your browser setting? For example, I have "no squint" installed as a Firefox addon. It allows you to adjust the page to fit the screen or enlarge, etc. I assumed that this was out of proportion.

I do have firebug. I've been trying to learn it. I've learned to change font color and to change alignment. And I have learned a little about how to use Developers Tool Kit to change text.

I have them in the order of...

1. Main Product Image
2. Attributes Module
3. Add To Cart Box

The Attributes is next to the Main Product Image but Cart Box is under the Main Product Image.

Is it more complicated to put multiple items beside the Main Product Image? Is this a case where I need to install the Column Layout Grid?

I would like attributes above add-to-cart, both being to the right of main image. That way everything is right there to place an order.

Then I would like additional images below (in a row) the main image. And title and description would be right below that. And the affitional images need to be close together.

Using Firebug I found where to change "additional images width=50%" to get the images closer together. But I can not find the file. When I enter any of the text obtained from page source, into Developers Toolkit, I get "Error: No matching Configuration Keys were found".
I'm on the right track but...

Please post back your tpl_product_info_display.php so I can take a look... Use the php icon around the wording...
