need an easier way for products.. Ideas?
I'm currently using zen cart Zen Cart 1.3.8a but this isn't important for my questions..
My current website is wannaspeed .com it works alright for my current needs, but I would like to add tons of products easily. And easily update prices.
One of my distributors has a site called turn14 .com and it's setup like a big database. You can search by keyword, part number, or manufacturer. It displays MAP price, retail, and my price. It shows what's in stock and whats not by different colors. It has a add to cart option just like any store and an option to pay more to have it drop shipped from the manufacturer. They do provide me with excel sheets that have retail prices and my discount for each manufacturer.
They have so many thousands of products that I would like to put up, but my current method of one by one is too slow and I lose interest. Then prices change and I have to go through one by one. It just sucks and I know it can be so much better.
I have read a little about the easy populate addon and maybe this will work okay, but I thought I would post here to see if anyone had any ideas.
I have another domain called gofastfreaks .com and I was going to experiment a little with it. I would like to setup a big database of products that people can order from. I really don't need pictures for this purpose. I basically just want an easy way to add products and change prices. Any ideas?
