Can't seem to edit products

Can't seem to edit products

I just created my first Zen Cart from the latest version. I'm using the classic template and trying to get some products into the site. I added two things and when I went back to edit them, none of the information I put in is there except for the picture.

If I save at that point, I wipe out all the text and info that I originally put in.

I'm so new, I don't know exactly where to look for help. Can anyone offer a suggestion? What did I do wrong?

Look here please...

Log into your admin panel, the place you check when you get orders... on the menu bar click version (right hand side)
