Top Sub Cat Category Image Link

How do I turn the Top Category text links into Image links?

It's too much of a WAG without some more info.

How do turn the A.category-links (as listed on the css) into image links? These would be the top level categories only that always display as top hoizontal text links.
You can add images in Admin to the Categories and they will display in the body when tunring on in Admin - Layout settings - Categories-always show on main page, but they do not display on the top hoizontal text links.

That menu is built dynamically, so there are no lines where you can just add <img> code. You could adapt code from Categories Dressing and/or Images for Titles, but the simplest way, not requiring PHP code hacking, would be to use the Ezpages Improved Menus mod from Free Addons, make ez-page internal links enabled for the header pointing to each category, and turn the ez-pages header bar on and categories-tabs off.

I am willing to do the php hacking and looking for direction of what files to change. All I want do is turn the text links at the horizontal header tool bar into an image link.

It would be easier and just as effective to use Ezpages Improved Menus to put images in the ez-pages header bar.
