Integrating Into Existing Site

Hi
I have just been advised to come here for a look at your cart. I was wondering if it is at all possible to integrate the cart into our existing site and have the look of being all as one site rather than just a redirect.

Thanks for any input
Thanks

Re: Integrating Into Existing Site

The best way is to re-create your site in Zencart, using the EZ page feature for non-store pages.

Failing that, we'll need more information. If your intent is to have the products on the existing site and use Zencart for back-end processing, that can be really difficult, depending on your products.

If you want to add a store to your existing non-ecommerce site, that's usually done by installing Zencart in a subdirectory, styling it to look like the main site (ease of doing so depends on your current design), and linking to it from the main site.

Re: Integrating Into Existing Site

Hi Thanks for the quick reply.
We use xara to create our web pages at the moment which exports to html. Can these then be used in the non store pages.
Thanks

Re: Integrating Into Existing Site

The EZ pages are straight HTML, so I assume the xara stuff would work, but I've never used it. You might install a test Zencart site on your server and give it a try before making up your mind.
