Help.. Scam or not?

A few days ago I noticed in the logs that I had a visitor from Singapore... So what?? But then I get this email (sent FROM my Zen site)

Stating:
"Dear Sir or madam,

Hi i'm Kaira Manager of DUTA GEAR, we are supplier and forwarding company in
Singapore.
we have plan to buy several things from your company. Before we are carrying
out business transaction,I want to know several stipulations transaction.

Do you accept credit card for payment method?
if you do,could you ship the goods to singapore ?

i'm loking forward to have bussines with you"

After my short reply, they send another (FROM my site) stating they want 50 photo engraved Zippo's.... Hmmm!

In my original reply I stated that we do accept credit cards via PayPal. Somehow I feel a scam comming.

Is there any way to check this out, I have Googled their supposed address and it seems for sale, if I got it right.

I am a noob online seller.

Thanks

Re: Help.. Scam or not?

Scam.

You'll find that name referenced in this long thread about frauds.

As a newbie seller, you may find this and this helpful.

And in general, if an order feels to good to be true, it most likely is.

Re: Help.. Scam or not?

Be especially wary if they want Express Shipping. Singapore is also one of the "High Fraud Risk" countries.

I always ignored this kind of emails no matter which country they are from. Mostly scam.

Re: Help.. Scam or not?

Do you notice that they DON'T even know what you sell...
until you reply.

Its because they send millions of these emails out and they then go to your website ONLY when you reply.

Total SCAM, ignore them, don't reply, or they will know that they have a "live one"
