Styles gone after editing config file

I've been trying to work on this from different angles and have come back to you before deleting and reinstalling the whole thing. I finally found the error logs and attached them. cgi_error_log.php I replaced the actual admin folder name with "admin".

By the way, I still can't access my admin page. This is the error, "The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log" which I'm sure you'll see in the log!

Thanks again,
Andrea

suexec policy violation: see suexec log for more detailsYou'll need to ask your hosting company for details about the "suexec policy violation", as that's most likely what's triggering the "unexpected condition".

And I think I'd be deleting that curl-version.php script from the server if I were you. Especially since you've now shared it with the world ;)

Re: Styles gone after editing config file

Ok, I deleted it. I have to continue to lay my ignorance out here though and ask if I'm going to need it again and if there's anything else I need to do regarding that blunder.

Re: Styles gone after editing config file

I can now access my admin page. I got in touch with my host and the issue was with the folder permissions. Then I had to follow these directions, https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=2 to actually login. How could all of this happen by changing the nameservers?!

Will continue working on other issues tomorrow.
Thanks again!

If you used the "forgotten password" feature in your admin then it would have reset the password and emailed it to you. If you didn't get that email or didn't notice it, etc, then of course you'd have no way to login without doing another reset or using the more drastic approach outlined in that FAQ article.

Re: Styles gone after editing config file

I took the plunge and moved ZC to my root folder and changed all of the image paths so everything works.

I don't know what kind of mess that was but it finally worked out. In chatting with the host about an error I was receiving when trying to access the site securely, he came back and said "I have pointed the domain clearairaz.com to SSL IP address". I asked him to clarify and he responded, "The domain was pointed to incorrect IP address. However, I have corrected it." I don't know if that only related to the security certificate or affected everything.

Thank you so much for all of your help DrByte!

Re: Styles gone after editing config file

You need to set your ENABLE_SSL to 'true' now to turn on automatic SSL use on pages that need it.
