Help! Build-your-own option?

I am a new user of ZenCart and therefore do not know much about it. I have the shell of a website set up but need to know if it is possible to have a 'build your own' section where customers can select several different items to create a customized hamper. Any help will be great!

Read the tutorials about attributes, which allow choices about features of a product. Seeing what you have, and a description of specifically how you would like it to behave, would let us give you more advice.

Thanks I will have a look at the tutorials. Not got anything yet really, don't want to get to far into it untill I know that it will be able to do this in the long term. It is for 'make your own hamper' the buyer will select a basket, then select a certain number of items (related to the basket) to put in to create their own hamper.

The "space meter" from that site would require some new custom coding and database table/fields, as it is a unique functionality. I don't believe you will find any cart platform with that built in unless maybe a high-end paid cart. If you are good with javascript and PHP you should be able to modify Zen Cart for it.
