Re: Nivo slider?

Sure do. That's the slider I have on my site. I'll pm you with my email, and I'm sure I can walk you through the setup easy enough.

As far as the product slider, you might look into AnythingSlider. I personally myself have not messed with this at all, but it doesn't look that hard to implement into your site.

Hope this helps.

Re: Nivo slider?

I have the same question. How do I install the Nivo Slider so that it is visible on my homepage?

Using version 1.3.9h.

Re: Nivo slider?

I am having a problem with getting the nivoSlider :frusty: to function correctly - all of the images appear but it seems that only the first slide is being impacted. All of the other images are being stacked below the first slide (reference the image).

This is the styles and javascripts that I have loaded:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/templates/hck/css/stylesheet.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/templates/hck/css/stylesheet_css_buttons.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/templates/hck/css/stylesheet_tables.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="print" href="includes/templates/hck/css/print_stylesheet.css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="includes/templates/hck/jscript/jscript_css_browser_selector.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="includes/templates/hck/jscript/jscript_jquery-1.5.1.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="includes/templates/hck/jscript/jscript_jquery.nivo.slider.js"></script> <script src="includes/templates/hck/jscript/css_browser_selector.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

This is the HTML Coding:

<div id="logoWrapper"> <!--<div id="logo"><?php echo '<a href="' . HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . '">' . zen_image($template->get_template_dir(HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE, DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images'). '/' . HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE, HEADER_ALT_TEXT) . '</a>'; ?></div>--> <?php if (HEADER_SALES_TEXT != '' || (SHOW_BANNERS_GROUP_SET2 != '' && $banner = zen_banner_exists('dynamic', SHOW_BANNERS_GROUP_SET2))) { ?> <div id="taglineWrapper"> <?php if (HEADER_SALES_TEXT != '') { ?> <div id="home-banner">
<table class="siteheader" title="Home of High Caliber Knives for Buck Knives, Columbia River Knives, Cold Steel Knives, Sog Knives, Lansky Sharpeners, Leatherman Pocket Tools">
	<tr>
		<td class="rightcol">
			<div>
				<a href ='index.php' title="High Caliber Knives Home Page"><img src="includes/templates/hck/images/slider/god-bless-america_1.jpg"  width="269" height="200" title="" alt="Al Mar Knives" /></a><br />
			</div>
		</td>
		<td class="centercol">
			<div id="slider" class="nivoSlider">
				<?php require($template->get_template_dir('tpl_home_slider.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'common'). '/tpl_home_slider.php');?>
			</div>
		</td>
		<td class="leftcol">
			<div>
				<a href ='index.php' title="High Caliber Knives Home Page"><img src="includes/templates/hck/images/slider/god-bless-america_2.jpg"  width="269" height="200" title="" alt="Al Mar Knives" /></a><br />
			</div>
		</td>
	</tr>
</table>
</div>
<?php } ?> <?php if (SHOW_BANNERS_GROUP_SET2 != '' && $banner = zen_banner_exists('dynamic', SHOW_BANNERS_GROUP_SET2)) { if ($banner->RecordCount() > 0) { ?>
  <div id="bannerTwo" class="banners"><?php echo zen_display_banner('static', $banner);?></div>
<?php } } ?>
</div>
<?php } // no HEADER_SALES_TEXT or SHOW_BANNERS_GROUP_SET2 ?> </div>

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.

You should take a look at ZX Slideshow and see what you're doing wrong - that's based on Nivo... :smile: Anyway, I believe you're just missing the css in your case...
