attributes not working

I noticed that i cannot add any attributes at all.

i can create attribute names but NOT add any values to the names. when i do it takes me to the main admin page.

Can anyone help me with this problem..??

the version of zencart i am using is V1.3.9h

The installation was a fresh install.

Php version is 5.2.17

I have a few mods installed in the shop. Some of them are as follows:

image handler 2
wish list
ebay exporter
aspona shop admin
testimonials manager
contest mod
reward points
live help
facebook catalogue browser
easy populate

and possibly a few others.

Try this first:

admin panal/ tool/ template default

2. switch from Cherry Zen back to the template classic contemporary green

3. and create an attriubute to see if she works

When you install your Add On modules are you using winMerge to compare the new module along side the core .php files. You have to munge the coding to make work.. You just can't upload on top.. Especially using a module that was written for an earlier version..

actually i think there is a script error rather than having certain files over written....

i have tried changing templates to the default one. Then i tried adding attributes but still nothing.

Does anyone know what is happening here or do i need to reinstall the whole thing...?

Check your mods for any that replace any admin files
Then look for any of these where more than one mod alters/replaces the SAME file
