Remove Categories from front page?

Hi, I'm new to zen-cart and need help with some things that others on this forum probably can do in less than 5 minutes.

I'm talkin about removing categories on front page (have a link to a similar site that i want my site to look like).

My site is: ledspotshop.com
I want my categories to look like this site: lumens.no

You see that the category and products are different on my site and I want them to be just like the Lumens site.

Also, this "table of content" is on all the pages, and i want to remove this.

Have to say that the easiest way is to use the same template?
they are using theme "440" and you are using "446" so they will have different images etc as the background to the catagory box etc and a different css.

It all depends on how close you want to get to their site? a few tweaks on the css will maybe get it close to the look you are after but to get exactly the same is basicly rewriting the elements of the template.
