Posting order to CRM

Once an order is completed, how do we create a url query string that will include a purchase dollar total, but also needs to include some data in our separate database... such as affiliate ID's, and lead source?

The site is: https://www.militaryfederalcreditstore.com

This site is a financing company site. Leads come from affiliate sites, They are then directed to an application for credit. Once, the application is complete and it is approved. There is an option to log in and shop. We were able to create an auto login and then clients can shop using Zen cart. Where we are stuck is once an order is placed, it will send a confirmation to the merchant and buyer. We want to be able to send a copy of the order to our CRM https://www.leadmaster.com and have it show up as a link or pdf so we can see the history of orders.

Re: Posting order to CRM

Take a look at how the JAM integration with Zen Cart works. You can probably use the same method with minor alterations.

Re: Posting order to CRM

The emails get sent by a function in classes/order.php. The function is send_order_email(). You can edit that file and send emails wherever you want in whatever format you want.

If you want to send the order as a pdf then that is going to take more work. Personally I'd just send all the details but that is just me.

About how that information is handled in your crm - no idea.

Having said all that I think that there are better ways than email to exchange the information. There seems no reason why the crm can't read the information straight out of the zen cart database but you'd need someone who knew about the crm to give you advice about that.
