changing "home" link on top menu

Hi apologies if this has all ready been asked i've been searching for ages and can't seem to find the answer i want.

the top menu bar which on my site has 'home' 'log-in'

basically what i want to do is change the url for 'home' to the main home page of the website and NOT the shop homepage.
and then beside the 'home' i want to add a new button 'shop menu'

i've looked in tpl_header but that just confused me even more lol

thanks in advance
steve

That is an unordered list or a series of "li's"
Just add yours as would be a normal html coded li
Use the developers tool kit in the admin to find the define for HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG which currently is "Home" and change it to what you want

div id="navMainWrapper">
<div id="navMain">
    <ul class="back">
YOU COULD ADD YOURS HERE
    <li><?php echo '<a href="' . HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . '">'; ?><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG; ?></a></li>
<?php if ($_SESSION['customer_id']) { ?>
    <li><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_LOGOFF, '', 'SSL'); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_LOGOFF; ?></a></li>
    <li><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_ACCOUNT, '', 'SSL'); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_MY_ACCOUNT; ?></a></li>

Re: changing "home" link on top menu

You might want to rethink this as leaving the cart drops the session and thus, the cart for anyone not logged in.

Most folks think of home as the home of what they are looking at instead of leaving "home" to go elsewhere.

You might want to add a Main Website link with a warning that cart items will go asta la bye bye.
