USPS not accepting Canada shipments?

Just suddenly starting this morning I am unable to get shipping options for any Canada addresses.

My Canadian customers are getting this message... confirmed this testing 3 different Canadian addresses.

We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)

Just to be sure I reinstalled the usps.php based on post #26 and assured all my usual options were checked... and then some... tried with all options checked and still no luck.

Extra weird... when I go to the USPS site and try to print a shipping label to canada I only get the option....

So, the question is...

How do we set up our USPS shipping module to force our Canadian shoppers to only select "Global Express Guaranteed (GXG)"?

I created a zone for Canada... and that is a far as I got.

Any suggestions?

I tried mine and even though I have First selected, I only get:

I just turned on "USPS GXG Envelopes" and now our Canadian shoppers only see the $38.75 price point.

I read every post the USPS thread just locked recently.

Problem started as late as today but could have been going on earlier and we didn't know it.

Canadian customer said USPS offered no shipping options. We had had this set to Priority Mail Intl and that had worked well for a few years.

I replaced 1.3.9h usps.php according to http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpost.php?p=978059&postcount=26

That actually didn't make a difference. I turned on debug and discovered only global express quotes came back in the XML.

I turned on every shipping type but only global express offered quotes.

It's asking for $35+ for a 1.2 oz package (no tare in this store), and almost $60 for a 1 lb+ package.

The address is a specific number on queen mary drive, Brampton, ON L7A2K7 canada.

I am :frusty: any thoughts??

Yes. Got the same problem today. Have 2 ZenCart web stores. One based on 1.3.8a and second on 1.3.9h and both do not give Canadian USPS quotes.
I know that USPS changed their rates for Canada few weeks ago, but before did not see any problems with Canada quotes in ZenCart. Please help.

OK missed that Canadian post was on strike.

That explains A LOT.
