Can I let customers add formatted text to product?

Greetings,
I have searched but can not find a post regarding this.

I want to sell a product that will be printed. It will include custom, formatted text supplied by the customer. For example, they order the style, the color and such, then type in the text they want to appear at the top of the print - but need to format that text (size, font, bold, etc).

I know formatting can be done with FCKeditor - but does anyone have a clue if Zen Cart can be modified to have an editor appear on the product page that would allow a customer to submit custom text as part of the product "description" in the order database?

To be clear, we need a new product attribute for "custom text". The value of this attribute is supplied by the customer via FCK or other similar editor. There custom, formatted text is written to the database as part or their order.
