control of where featured products appear

I have the featured products appearing on the home page as I want them at http://74.220.204.53/ but I do not want the featured products to appear on the lower half of the Bracelets categories page: http://74.220.204.53/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3

Is there a way to control this?

admin -> Configuration -> Index Listing -> Show Featured Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories

Show Featured Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories setting is 1

You can do this by creating a category-specific CSS file named /includes/templates/abc-custom/css/c_6.css (since your bracelets are cType=6). The file should contain

#featuredProducts { display: none; }

The file will only be loaded for your bracelets category and "hides" the featured products' <div>.

try setting it to 0

It wasn't working but then I noticed the page was cpath =3 so I named the css file c-3.css and then it worked.

Glad to have helped, although it would have better if I hadn't glitched on the category number!
