At a roadblock, product page layout help, please

I updated my zen cart and I have everything done except one thing that I can't figure out or remember how I had done it before. Because I feel that pictures are worth a thousand words.

The first picture is what my product page currently is, and the second picture is what it used to be. I would like it to go back to the original way that I had it with the product title spanning the product picture and description.

Can anyone help me?

Based on the picture you provided, it looks like in your old template, the product title / name was simply positioned differently. Trying playing around with the CSS for the product title / name and positioning it differently.

Thanks for your response. Honestly, I don't even know how I did it before and I have stared at the style sheets for hours trying to figure out where the positioning would be, and...I'm coming up short.

I'm at a complete loss. Also, I'm not really a programmer, I'm a complete novice stumbling through this all.

what page are you trying to change, is it the tpl_product_info_default page? If it is, I suggest looking at the stylesheet.css and looking for #productName and then suggest playing around with margin-top, etc. It's probably not a perfect fix, but it's a start to figuring out what it is you're looking for.

Insert this just after your <!--eof Product Name--> in tpl_product_info_display.php and see if it works....

What it does is make a page break, so text doesnt flow. For example, if you put one after your main image code, the description text would start below it, and not flow next to it...

The stock tpl_product_info_display.php has the main image before the title, so that it appears to the left of the title with the standard styling. To get the title above the image and description, your old template moved the name above the image in the file:```
