How can I setup the catagories sidebox to use image links instead of text?

I want to setup my catagories sidebox to display image links instead of the default text (catagory name) links. Any ideas?

Categories Dressing from Free Addons is built to allow images in place of category text, either as foreground images or as backgrounds which change on hover.
