Detailed Invoice Link of customer’s order conformation email showing index..php
The Detailed Invoice links of my customer’s order conformation emails don't work.
The reason for this is that the url being generated contains a spurious extra dot – instead of index.php it’s index..php as follows:
xhttps://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk//xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk/shop/index..php?main_page=account_history_info&order_id=xxxx
If you click on the link, the browser returns a 404 page not found error message. If you manually delete the extra dot in the address bar of the browser and click go, the url works fine.
The question is, why is the extra dot being generated and how can it be permanently removed?
