stock by attributes not working properly for me

Ok. This forum is my last resort.

I'm using the stock by attributes module and also the dynamic drop down for stock by attributes module. My Zencart version is the latest (1.3.9). The stock by attributes module is 1.4.13 and the dynamic drop down is 1.3.4.

Heres my problem:
I go to the attributes module in admin, and then to the "add a quantity for product variant" tab for a certain product. I have three different option names. I select "all" for each one and enter a quantity (hoping later to delete the few unwanted variables). The quantities show up in admin. But on my website, only one of the option names even has any variable show up. The other two come up with ZERO variables in the dynamic dropdown.

I've found that entering all the different combinations manually will make the variables show up. However, with over a hundred combinations for each product, this is too time-consuming!

Some products do show up with all the variables (when not doing it manually) but over half don't--it seems very flukey.

I tried to investigate in the SQL database, and found that in the stock by attributes table, the variables (ones not present on website but in admin) were also found. Don't know if this is pertinent, but when sorting the variables by product ID, the SQL query was succesful, when sorting by stock ID, the query came up empty.

I've recently renamed and added new option names and re-arranged the sort order of option values. I don't know if this affected anything or not but even before that, the stocks by attributes wasn't working quite properly--just now there's almost no variables that work!

Can something be done?! Or do I have to scrap the whole thing?

One other thing, in admin, for one of the products, the total stock display (beside the "Add Quanitity for Product variable" tab) shows up this random phrase: "1.89e+06". Usually the number of total items in stock for a certain product shows up.

Take what I say with a grain of salt (new Zenner!), but for anybody who's wondering.... the stock by attributes module version 1.4.13 does work with dynamic drop down version 1.3.4, and that works well enough for Zencart version 1.3.9.

Just don't go renaming and reassigning option names and values as the attributes by stock doesn't seem to be able to carry over these changes unless manually plugging in every variable.

As for the weird number phrase in the total stock display, this doesn't seem to affect anything.

Do you have the problem of '0 in stock but still allows you to checkout and pay'?

Do you mean the stock by attributes module version 1.4.13 must work with dynamic drop down version 1.3.4 to solve the problem above?

OK. My problem is solved by using the two mods together: Stock by Attribute and Dynamic Drop Downs.

If they are not together, they have a problem. Like a marriage.

I suggest the author of the two mods should state this in the mod page.
