Admin Page Registration

Where can a person get more info on this Feature?

Can't find anything in a Forum search and module files do not seem to describe its functions.

In an ideal world there'd be no need for this page and it could be dropped completely. And it still might be.

In the meantime it's there to allow users to add pages to the admin menu if their mod isn't doing that as part of the installation (e.g. because it hasn't been upgraded).

So there's not yet any documentation about it as it won't be relevant until after 1.5. is formally released and starts to be used by end users - and it may not survive that long anyway.

I am just looking at the Tabbed pro module and it does not have any admin files but it installs config data into the database with an sql statement. How can I get this data to show up as I cannot register a page as there does not appear to be one to register.

I suspect I am missing something here - in terms of my lack of php knowledge. I have looked at Conor's post about registering admin pages and have used it for another mod but don't understand enough.
