Does anyone know where this is/how to make this?

Hey guys!
Everyone on here is so helpful, I was wondering if they knew what this was. I've seen many websites that have a little scrolling "flash looking" box that is a slide show of featured products. Are these banners? If so, how do I do something similar?

Examples:
http://www.cosplayfu.com/
http://www.salesmanb2b.com/

Thanks, guys!
