What's New is including ALL my products

First, I tried to search for "What's New" before i posted, but got no results as these 2 words are too common :)

So, my issue is that all of my products are showing up in the What's New section although the majority have the 'added to catalog' date of 2009.

Will someone please tell me where i can define/refine the query?

you can control what is considered "new" in

admin -> configuration -> maximum values -> New Product Listing - Limited to ...

Limit the New Product Listing to
0= All Products
1= Current Month
7= 7 Days
14= 14 Days
30= 30 Days
60= 60 Days
90= 90 Days
120= 120 Days
