Why would one shipping method be disabled if quotes are pulling from the ups server?

Why would one shipping method be disabled if quotes are pulling from the ups server? I cannot seem to locate this answer here :)

For example:
This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order.
United Parcel Service
$37.16Next Day Air
$19.062nd Day Air

I've enabled Ground but it's not giving me that option.

How would UPS or USPS determine the shipping if the weight is 0?

If you change the UPS packaging from UPS Tube to Your Packaging - CP ... does it now work?

=The client doesn't want the shipping based on weight, but shipped based on the package, which is a tube. The client charges a flat $16 per tube.

=I changed that to cp and rates show up, but I want to be able to say how much they cost. Does that make sense?

Although the client ships UPS, she doesn't want their rates to show.

For example:
If the customer wants to ship UPS Ground it will cost $16. Not based on shipping address or weight.

Is this even possible? I have advanced shipper, maybe that would work better than enabling the ups module?

If I got to the UPS web site and try to do a quote on a tube, I do not see a Ground quote ... do you? :unsure:

Ahhhh...interesting...I've ordered from this client and it was shipped ground to me. So I know it's available but I'm not sure what's up...:frusty:

You might try the UPS XML from the Free Software Add Ons and see if that works for you ...
