Home page products not changing

On the home page there is a box containing featured products however it refuses to change their prices or images.
I go in and just change the price and it wont update.
Idk if this is a different code or what but i need some help.
If there is any way to get this to change i will be great full.
This is a template a friend emailed to me and he is gone for a month so im trying to figure it out.
i found it in the source code.

but i dont know where to change what its showing and how its getting it.

1. You have a Template Monster template.
2. You have links going anywhere but where they are supposed to.
3. You have a Template Monster template.
4. Hard-coding links in the site will come back to haunt you immensely when they are changed.
5. Did I mention that you have a Template Monster template? Nothing can screw up Zen Cart more. Except when you start trying to make any changes.:censored:
6. I'd go back to classic and see if the links work from there. If so, regroup slowly step by step to try to get it working. Don't add any mods till the TM template is working. Unfortunately, that may never happen.:no:

well thats true but it looked soo nice...
i am even trying to remove it. and that isnt easy as well.
going to see what happens when i set it back to normal any one know where the code may be that doing it?
or maybe contact TM and see if and what they can do...

Well the classic works.
and the links are the same.
So somewhere in the css or else where is a file that changes how these act...

Yep. But this doesn't look like a USUAL TM scr:censored:up.
Never known them to hardcode a product link AND they are probably smart enough to at least know that this should have gone in the define_main_page instead of where it is.
Looks more like someone who was completely unfamiliar with Zen.
For now, just comment out the entire carousel div.
BTW, TM washes their hands when the check clears.
