Seeking guidance in setting up various shipping options

I am hoping someone can help guide me in setting up my shipping.

This is what I would like to do:

I offer free domestic regular Canada Post shipping for all of my candy bar wrappers and label products. I would like to offer a RUSH flat rate shipping service for Canadian customers who need their product in a hurry. Here's where I get confused: for my candy bars, customers can order just the wrapper (which would be free domestic shipping) or they can add the candy bar (set up as an attribute). I need to set up the shipping for when a customer wants to add the candy bars to their order. This would have to be by weight as the shipping cost will depend on how many they are ordering. Then to top it all off, because I do not offer free international shipping of the wrappers and label products I would like to set up flat rate international shipping options.

Is it possible to set up a combination of flat rate and 'by weight' shipping options? The only time it would be by weight is if the customer added a certain attribute to their cart.

In summary, I need to set up shipping options that the customer can choose from:

• Free Domestic (for certain products only)
• Flat rate for domestic and international; one regular, one rush
• By weight (for one particular attribute)

I am sooooo frustrated and am hoping there is a kind soul that is willing to help a confused newbie out :blush:. I am using the current version of ZC and I'm trying to set up the shipping module. I will be using the Canada Post module (If I can ever figure out how to get it to work!) and the free pick up option. This is the problem I am having:

In the shipping module, I have the Canada Post Mod installed but the button under sort order is yellow which, from my understanding, is telling me there is something wrong but I can't figure out what.

I also have the Store Pick up module installed and the button under sort order is green, which from my understanding, is telling me that it's okay.

I have all of my products set to Normal Shipping Rules.

Now, when I go into my site and test buy a product the pickup option does not appear, the Canada Post option appears, however, it states "Free shipping for over $0.00". I don't have either of the free shipping mods installed so I am totally confused as to why it is referring to free shipping.

I would be forever grateful for any assistance with my problem. I have been working on this all day and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to work.

My apologies but my intention was not to bump my thread as it was still located near the top of the first page.

I am a newbie so I am not sure what other information I could possibly post in my thread and how would I know if my details are unclear and how else to explain it if no one replies? I posted my question in the Canada Post thread about a week ago and I havent received a reply.

At this point I have no idea what other details to post or even what to do about my dilemma because I can't seem to find the answer to my problem and I'm not getting any responses to my posts. I'm at a standstill with my website because I can't figure out the shipping module and can't find any instructions :(

I am fairly new to zen cart and am currently struggling with setting up my shipping options. I have searched the forums but still cannot figure it out. Here is what I would like to accomplish:

I'd like to have free shipping on all of my labels. I currently have a weight set up for them so I'm thinking the easiest way to do this is to use freeoptions for all orders under 1kg. When I set this up and test it out, it shows up in the options, however, it even shows as a shipping option when orders are over 1kg and I dont want to offer free shipping on larger order as all heavier orders will be items other than my labels. I set freeoptions to <=1.0 so I am thinking it should work but it's not.

Then I'd like to add additional expedited shipping options which I started setting up through zonerates. I will have different rates for Canada than the US and Europe. I have set up a zone rate for Canada to test it and it appears to be working, however, I would like to change the name as it is currently saying Zone Rates and I'd like it to say Expedited. Does anyone know how I can change the name and also remove the stated weight?

Any assistance anyone is able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
