Re: vertical multilevel slide menu

You have PHP 5.2.what?

Per the linked thread, 5.2.3 is the cutoff for this problem, so the exact version you have matters.

I installed 2 different zencart module zen_cart_vertical_multilevel_slide_out_category_menuThis sounds like only one mod... what other one did you install?

Re: vertical multilevel slide menu

View source shows that your categories are there, but the inline styling of the "advancedcategories" mod has it all hidden. Apparently whatever is supposed to make the categories visible is not working right, but we would need to be familiar with the javascript and/or CSS it uses to know why. I notice references to "includes/templates/template_default/css/slide-out-menu-new.css" and "includes/templates/template_default/jscript/slide-out-menu-new.js"; if either of those is missing or corrupt, it would not work.

Are these files supposed to go in /template_default/, or in your custom template folders? If they are supposed to be in your template, they are not being found and are being called from /template_default/ where they do not exist either.

Re: vertical multilevel slide menu

however, the php is 5.2.17 Which means that the other issue does not apply to you, since 17 is greater than 3 :)

Re: vertical multilevel slide menu

I just ran into the same issue -or so it appears.

What files were missing in the default template folders? The readme explicitly instructs you to keep the dir structure as is within includes

Re: vertical multilevel slide menu

Nevermind. I fixed it. Pretty much same as above; hadn't loaded all the required files in the correct spot.

Re: vertical multilevel slide menu

Here's one I probably won't figure out on my own...One of my menu's is to long for the page. I'm worried clients won't realize they must scroll the page to see the bottom of the menu. Is there anyway I can add a scroll function to the menu itself?

Re: vertical multilevel slide menu

Alright. Well, how about the possibility of choosing where the menu pops-up? If the top part of the submenu didn't start equal to the main menu but rather was centered you wouldn't likely need to scroll down. Is that possible?
