I Need a Module(s) For Wholesale & Retail

Ok. Here is whats going on:

I am in need of retail & wholesale module(s) I can use with attributes in one store for retail and wholesale customers. I installed the Dual Pricing last night and it worked for only the actual wholesale prices I assigned, however, it would not acknowledge the attribute additional prices for each item (bummer!). Thats a pretty cool module if it worked with attributes. So back to the drawing board here.
Here is an example of what I have:
I have a wholesale item at $135.00 - customer has the option to add additional customization to the main item and it adds the additional price set up with attributes. The module would not acknowledge the additional attribute price that was suppose to add to the base wholesale price, plus in the cart it set it at the retail price. Ok. So I uninstalled that one and replaced my files.
Now I am leaning toward the online group pricing, having installed it yet but will tonight and try it out.
My question is this: What would you recommend for me to use? Maybe I am overlooking another module that would do the trick...any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. I'll post my results with the online group pricing module.

I also have wholesale and retail pricing. I accomplish it with different websites for each. I know it sounds like a hassle but it depends on how many items you have. It gave me the additional advantage of being able to sell different items to these customers. I can sell bulk to wholesale and do not want to in the retail side.

I agree with Dan. Separate shopping carts seems best.

perkeikat, you can create a separate shopping cart for wholesale on the same server as your retail shop.

Here are two methods:

1. create a separate directory into which you would download a new Zencart install and create your wholesale shop. You could name the directory /bulk, /wholesale or any name that works for you.

2. Instead of a separate directory, you could create a subdomain on your server. The url would be something like this: mywholesalesite.mydomain.com.

You can install cross links between the two sites if you like so if a visitor to the retail site is a potential wholesale buyer, they could click the link to the wholesale site or vice versa.

Customers would have to create their accounts on the appropriate website. This will help you keep your wholesale customers separate and will facilitate mass emailing to wholesale only customers, or retail only customers. It will also provide better sales tax control as wholesale buyers are typically resellers and not subject to sales tax.
