URGENT Help Needed Please!!!!! Free downloads have no download link

I am using version 1.39h of Zen Cart with the free Flower's template and everything is set up, at least I thought so.

My partner ran a test run and bought a product and was able to download said product and everything worked great.

Now that the store is open, I have offered one FREE product for download. I have 4 customers that have signed up for this free product but no download link is showing up. Is anyone able to help me please?

What is the product set to be when purchased, meaning status like processing, delivered, ect.

Sorry if its not try setting it to something like delivered.

a) if the product is free, you'll need to enable the FreeCharger payment module to allow checkout
b) if all your purchases which are paid using FreeCharger are supposed to be instantly delivered and accessible to the customer, set the Order Status setting inside your FreeCharger module's settings to Processing or Delivered, as suggested by puppet87112

If the order is left in "Pending" status, it means it's waiting for an administrator to authorize it, most often to update it to say payment has been received and that the order is ready to be fulfilled. In the case of free items, often there's no need for that extra step, so setting it to Processing or Delivered automatically is desired.

I had the same problem today. Found out that after the admin clicked DELIVERED in the order status, it would appear, but it still would not download. Discovered that REDIRECT is not supported on a Windoze server (which I am using). The the program would appear to download, but would just hang. Setting the DOWNLOAD BY REDIRECT property to FALSE in the admin/configuration/attribute settings cured the problem for me. :clap:
