strange symbols in order confermation

can someone tell me how to delete these strange symbols from the order confermation email

Thanks for the reply Ajeh been working fine since I posted the question but checked anyway and it's set for £ gremlins me thinks

Check that the Currency setting for pounds is using:
£

and that the setting on the E-Mail Options ... has the proper translation for TEXT emails ...

Then test an order to generate a TEXT email ...

Hi Ajeh thats what I've done did a test purchase and also the orders I've had to day have been fine no wierd symbols. gremlins must have taken a hike :clap:

Hate those little creatures ... shouldn't of fed them after midnight ... :lamo:
