How to make the appearance of your zen-cart shop Screen Resolution independent?

the homepage and product-display page appear quite different from computers with different screen resolution.

any way to fix this problem?

Thank you very much.

Make your site to a fixed with, say 980 pixels, and make everything fit that. Don't go for a floating layout.

Find in your stylesheet.css

html>body {
width: auto;
}

and replace with...

html>body {
width: 990px;
margin: auto;
}

You will need to make your banners smaller as they overlap the main frame.
