Flash banner not displaying in header

I have spent many frustrating hours trying to get a flash banner to display in the header. I have tried several methods, firstly embedding the HTML object code in a banner, which works fine in Chrome and FF, but doesn't display in IE.

I then found a post showing how to create a .js script which embedded the .swf, and put the script code in the banner. This loaded the flash file, but it was blank.

So, I've recently found a third option for putting the code in the tpl_header.php file, which I have done. However, the flash file does not even load. This is the code in my tpl_header (using /includes/templates/premium1c/common/tpl_header.php)

I've been at this for hours, so maybe I've missed something really obvious, but if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it as I'm going nuts trying to work it out. :(

I realise the banner will conflict with the login/cart but that will be moved out the way using CSS again (currently disabled) once the banner is working.

Zencart version is 1.3.9h

never mind, eventually got it to work using a swfoject generator.

Hi I'm trying to add a swf file flash banner to my header and I have looked at the programe converter you said and now I'm lost can you please tell me what you did to get your flash banner on the web site.
